Huacaya Dams

We have 12 Huacaya dams, with four pregnant and due between late spring and late fall of 2011. Check the dams listed below. Give us a call or send us an email if you are interested in purchasing one of these dams. The open dams will come with a breeding from our herdsires of your choice.

SOLD	AFR's Argentina (ARI #817100)  - Argentina was born June 6, 1999. She is white. Argentina has produced two cria - AFR's Dakota (June 2002, male) and The Vic Jr's St. Thomas (June 2003). She is retired and will no longer be bred. Her sire is the import, Pperuvian Guido G4522. Argentina's dam is Anddorra. From her dam, Argentina's lineage is the import, Pperuvian Emilio G4555.
	Ceridwen of NMA (ARI #30413375) - Cerrie was born June 7, 2007. She is medium brown. She had her first cria (Whiteout of New Moon) in February 2010. She is currently open and will be bred in spring 2011. Cerrie's sire is Bartleby. Her sire's lineage includes Snowmass Andean Gold, 4Peruvian Andean Gold 6019, AHR Blue Chip, Peruvian Hemingway G171, and Uber's Ferdinand. Her dam is SCFA Pixie Dust. From her dam, Cerrie's lineage includes Peruvian Hemingway Protgege, Peruvian Hemingway G171, SA Trinidad, SA Tupac Amaro, and The Goldsmith HST G466.
	Colorette D095 ALOA (ARI #123352) - Colorette (known as Kiana) was born August 1993. She is dark fawn with a white neck band. She has produced eight cria - SLA's Denali Brule (August 1006), male), Sleeping Lady's Rondezvous (September 1998, female), Sleeping Lady's Tulsequah (October 1999, gelding), Sleeping Lady's Pipeline (October 2000, male), Sleeping Lady's Haida (September 2001, female), Forest Ladies Morel (July 2005, female), Forest Ladies Juneau (June 2007, female), and Forest Ladies Tundra (August 2008, female). She is retired and will no longer be bred. Colorette's sire is the import, Powerline ET497. Her dam is the import, Painted Lady PC G118.
	Forest Ladies Aleutian (ARI #1188110) - Aleutian was born September 6, 2004. She is dark fawn. Aleutian is a maiden who is currently open. She will be bred in spring 2011. Her sire is Samara's Accoyo Platinum. From her sire, Aleutian's lineage includes Pperuvian Vengador G4568 and Pperuvian Victor G4563. Aleutian's dam is Sleeping Lady's Rodezvous. From her dam, Aleutian's lineage includes PLA's Winter's Blizzard, PLA's Siddhartha, and Powerline ET497.
	Forest Ladies Morel (ARI #30393080) - Morel was born July 8, 2005. She is beige. Morel has produced one cria - Forest Ladies Yukon (August 2008, male). She is currently open and will be bred in spring 2011. Morel's sire is Samara's Accoyo Samurai. From her sire, Morel's lineage includes Pperuvian Camilio G4561 and Pperuvian Victor G4563. 	Birthed a true black male Huacaya with white nose and socks, Monday (July 4th) at about 12:30 p.m. The cria's sire is Helderberg Nevada Hannah of Redwood Ridge (ARI #1418323) - Hannah was born September 6, 2004. She is a pinto (white and medium brown). She has produced four cria for New Moon Alpacas - Rowan of NMA (May 2007, female), Golden Ion of NMA (June 2008, female), Remington's Gold Standard of New Moon (January 2010, male), and a male cria (not yet named) July 4th. Her sire is Derwydd Peruvian Huiyari. Her sire's lineage is the import, 4Peruvian Starr Khan 6003. Hannah's dam is Phoebe of Redwood Ridge. From her dam, her lineage includes Justice of Redwood Ridge, The Goldsmith HST G460, and Woz.
	Heart of the Mountain Misty Rose (ARI #830140) - Misty Rose was born July 7, 2001. Her primary color is dark rose gray, with a light rose gray secondary color. She arrived from Western Colorado in early April 2011. Misty Rose is open and will be bred to one of New Moon Alpaca's herdsires in a couple of months. Her sire is an import, Peruvian Oro G203. Misty Rose's dam is Silver Melody. Her dam's lineage includes Cochise Codi G499.
	Kinsey of Redwood Ridge (ARI #1418293) - Kinsey was born October 20, 2004. She is medium brown. Kinsey has produced three cria for New Moon Alpacas - NMA's Autumn Kiss (September 2007, female), Bartleby's Coquette of NMA (April 2009, female), and New Moon's Noir by Delorean (October 2010, male). 	Pandora of Saturn (ARI #1227710) - Pandora was born July 26, 2004. She is medium rose gray. 	SCFA Pixie Dust (ARI #824033) - Pixie Dust was born February 29, 2000. She is white. Pixie Dust is the first alpaca purchased by New Moon Alpacas in June 2004. Pixie Dust has produced six cria for New Moon Alpacas - Queen of the Elves (November 2004, female), Remington's Last Hurrah! (June 2006), Ceridwen of NMA ( June 2007, female), Shaman of New Moon (May 2008), Artemis of New Moon (September 2009, female), and Longfella's Suraph of New Moon (November 2010, female). 	Sleeping Lady's Haida (ARI #842174) -  Haida was born September 28, 2001. She is medium fawn. Haida has produced three cria - Forest Ladies Okko (June 2005, male), Forest Ladies Icey Bay (September 2006, female), and Forest Ladies Nome (September 2008, female). Haida has been bred to Remington's Last Hurrah!. Her cria is due in mid-August 2011. Her sire is AFR's Hong Kong. From her sire, her lineage includes the import, Pperuvian Victor G4563.
